I found it easy to talk to this Doctor about the procedure and had absolute faith in her skill to carry out my cataract operation. This is the second cataract operation that she has performed and I was very fortunate that she was able to do the second op. She is a very warm and friendly person who puts you at ease. AS an NHS patient, I was lucky to have the best.

The surgeon with great professionalism explained to me what are the risks not doing the operation.
All my questions and doubts answered to me with convictions.
She then makes me confident to undergo the surgery.
The surgeon and team always used the word"we take care of you"and that 's what happens to me.

Tahmina goes above and beyond with the care she gives.
I had cataract surgery over two years ago and nothing was too much for her, any questions or worries I had she was there for me.
This year I had a concern and went back to Tahmina and it transpired I had a detached retina, she was straight on the phone and got me transferred the next day to see Mr Dogramaci for surgery.
Cannot recommend her highly enough.

I wish to thank Dr Tahmina Pearsall for my recent Trabeculectomy surgery on my right eye.
The help and encouragement given during a long process of 9 months prior to the operation
in July was excellent.

Ms Pearsall carried out a Trabeculectomy on my right eye.. The operation was brilliant with everything going to plan. The follow up was equally impressive.
I felt that I was kept informed from the start also that Ms Pearsall really cared about getting my eye back to good working order.
You ask for suggestions as to how the care might have been improved. My answer is that the care was first class and I could not have asked for more.

My name is Ms Tahmina Pearsall and I am an experienced Consultant Ophthalmologist based previously at Whipps Cross University Hospital – part of the prestigious Bartshealth Trust - one of the top London teaching hospitals and now at East Surrey Hospital. I am proud to be a UK trained surgeon who has had the good fortune to have been trained in centres of excellence such as Moorfields Eye Hospital, St Thomas’ and Addenbrooke's (Cambridge) which has enable me to provide excellent medical and surgical care across all aspects of Ophthalmology. My research and surgical achievements have won many prizes both nationally and internationally and most recently I was honoured to be nominated for the “Hospital Heroes” award.
